2014-15: Looks to improve in his third season for the Eagles … “He adds depth to the middle weights for us … Wrestles the right way and get better every year,” Hunter said.
2013-14: Had two wins at 157 for the Eagles … Had four, three-point near falls and never had a three-point near fall against him.
2012-13: Another hard worker at the middle weights … Had one win during the season while competing in open tournaments.
High School: He put together a record of 124 wins to just 47 losses during his four years at Campbell County in Gillette, Wyo. … He placed at the state tourney three times, including a state championship as a senior … He was a two-time regional champion, as well.
Personal: His twin brother, Tyler, also wrestled at CSC … He’s the son of Jack and Kari Pownall … Born Oct. 10 … Majoring in physical education.
