Taylor Summers qualified for his first NCAA Championships this weekend, placing second at the West Super Regional in Gunnison, Colorado. In the process, he defeated the No. 3 wrestler in the nation, Martin Ramirez, getting revenge for earlier in the season. Summers' only loss was to the two-time defending champion and three-time finalist Daniel DeShazer of Nebraska-Kearney, in the regional final.
