Herl's success at the University of Northern Colorado Tom Benich Invite is well documented, as she was named the RMAC Field Athlete of the Week on Monday. She auto-qualified in both the hammer throw and the discus throw, setting new school records in both events. She also won the shot put competition with a provisional mark to tie for the top individual point total for the CSC women, who finished third at the meet with 121.5 points ahead of Colorado, Wyoming, Black Hills State, and MSU Billings.
