Freshman first baseman Allie Mason was the star of Sunday's game three, in the four-game series against MSU Denver, launching a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to put the Eagles on top 4-3. Her solo shot with one out in the eighth gave the Eagles 39 homers on the season, which matches the team's output for round-trippers for the entire 2016 season. Mason had an on-base percentage of .417 after taking three bases on balls and getting two hits on the weekend.
