AP Little All-America Team
Chadron State College tailback
Glen Clinton has been named to the Associated Press Little All-America Third Team.
Â
It is the third All-America honor for Clinton, a Harlon Hill finalist, in the past 10 days. Clinton, a senior from Cody, Wyo., has already been selected to the 2013 Daktronics and Beyond Sports Sports Network All-America Second Teams.
Â
Clinton had a sensational senior season for the 8-3 Eagles. He rushed for 1,518 yards, scored 14 touchdowns and gained 1,923 all-purpose yards. Both totals led the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and he also added 43 receptions for 405 yards. Seven of his runs were longer than 50 yards.
Â
Late in the 2013 season, Clinton became the second-leading rusher in Chadron State history and finished his career with 4,656 yards. He also became just the second player ever at CSC to accumulate over 6,000 all-purpose yards.
Â
Clinton is the first Chadron State offensive player to be recognized on the AP Little All-America team since Danny Woodhead in 2007.
Â
Two other RMAC players were named to the AP Little All-America First Team. They are Colorado State University-Pueblo defensive end Darius Allen and Fort Lewis punter Scottie Gallardo.
