Grizzlies rally past Eagles

ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Adams State wrestling team won the final six matches over Chadron State to claim a 31-15 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference victory during their dual Friday night in Alamosa, Colo.

The Eagles, who owned a 15-3 lead early in the dual, fall to 6-6 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

Adams State, which has defeated Chadron State in 11 consecutive duals, improves to 6-3 overall and 4-1 in the conference.

Adams State's Jarrod Purvis, the No. 8 ranked wrestler at 174 pounds, got the dual started off right for the Grizzlies by earning a 6-3 decision over Devan Fors.
