Box Score SPEARFISH, S.D. – Five Black Hills State men's basketball players scored at least eight points to help propel the Yellow Jackets to a 57-51 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference victory over Chadron State College Saturday in the season finale for both teams.
 
Brody Brisk led Black Hills State (7-19, 6-16 RMAC) with 12 points but he received plenty of help in the tightly-contested game. Cameron Anderson and Ryan Allen each scored 10 points and Brady Bisgaard and Joey Mitchell each chipped in eight more.
 
Zac Bargen led Chadron State with 12 points and Kyle Vinich supplied 10 points and 12 rebounds to record his second double double of the season.
 
The Eagles actually outshot the Yellow Jackets – 41 percent compared to 30 percent – but CSC struggled from the foul line, connecting on just 18 of 38, while Black Hills State sank 11 of 18.
 
The game featured eight lead changes and was tied seven times. Black Hills State's biggest lead came midway through the second half when it led 46-39 but the Eagles cut it to 52-51 with just under two minutes to play after a pair of free throws from Vinich.
 
However, Brisk broke free for an uncontested dunk on the Jackets' next possession and after the Eagles missed two free throws Anderson sealed the victory with a jumper.
 
All nine CSC players who played scored.
 
Bargen, who entered the game as the RMAC's scoring leader, ends the season atop the conference chart after averaging 18.2 points in 25 games played. His scoring average is the highest for a CSC men's basketball player since Tim McLaurin averaged 18.2 points a game in 2008-09.
 
Black Hills State's Tanner Adler, who entered Saturday's game as the conference's second leading scorer, played just 17 minutes and fouled out with four points.
 
The Eagles finish the season with a 3-23 record.
