WAYNE, Neb. – Wayne State's Jordan Spencer scored a game-high 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the 12
th-ranked Wildcats to an 88-50 non-conference victory over Chadron State College Friday.
 
Wayne State, now 4-0 this season, led 40-30 at halftime, but managed to stretch the lead to as many as 40 points in the second half after opening the final 20 minutes on an 18-3 scoring run. Wayne State excelled close to the basket scoring 36 points inside the paint.
 
Spencer did much of her damage from the foul line, hitting 10 of 14. For the game, Wayne State made 24 of 35, compared to eight of 13 for CSC.
 
Also for Wayne State, Millie Niggeling scored 21 points and Paige Bellinger added 18.
 
Nine player scored for Chadron State. 
Maka Daysh finished with a team-high 11 points and seven rebounds and 
Kate Simonton chipped in 10. 
Stephanie Knowles added three assists and seven points and 
Maddie Metzger scored six off the bench.
 
Chadron State returns to action Friday, Nov. 28, in a men's and women's doubleheader at South Dakota School of Mines in Rapid City.
