DENVER – Chadron State College women's basketball fell to Regis University 69-59
Friday evening in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference match up.
The Eagles (1-8, 1-4 RMAC) will play at Metro State University
Saturday at 5 to close out the 2014 portion of their season.
On Friday, Regis (6-2, 2-2 RMAC) outscored Chadron State 18 to 10 in the paint, as well as earning 19 points off of turnovers in the first half to build a 33-28 lead. The Rangers pushed their lead to as many as 13 points and didn't let the Eagles get closer than four points.

Emma Block scored a career-high 24 points to lead all scorers. Block was seven for 15 from the field, drained three of four from beyond the arc and was a perfect seven for seven from the foul line. Center
Ruby Luders, who scored 11 points, was perfect from the field, hitting all six shots she took.
The Rangers had three women score in the double-digits, led by Caresse Williams with 19, Bay'lee Purdy with 16 and Karlyn Johnson added 12. Williams, who had a game-high seven rebounds, shot over 50 percent from the field and was seven for nine from the line. Purdy hit four 3-pointers for Regis, and Johnson hit four of her five shots from the field.
Regis was stout on defense, outrebounding Chadron State 34 to 26. The Rangers also stole the ball from the Eagles 15 times, led by Kaycee Hert's four steals.
