Box Score GOLDEN, Colo. – Chadron State's men's basketball team could not stop No. 13 Colorado School of Mines' offense as it sealed a 104-72 victory over the Eagles Saturday.
Five Mines players reached double-figures including a game high 31 points from Brett Green. The Orediggers made 36 of 64 shots from the field and dropped 13 3-pointers for the game.
It was an even playing field to start the game until Mines went on a 10-0 scoring run to separate the margin 19-9. The Eagles would trail for the remainder of the half and Mines led 57-36 going into the second half.
Mines' offense only accelerated in the second half as it topped 50 percent from the field and behind the arc. The Orediggers led by 23 or more for the remainder of the game.

Christopher Smith had 17 points,
Grant Stone added 12 points and
Kendrick Holliman chipped in 11.
Chadron State will host the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and CSU-Pueblo next weekend.
