CHADRON – Colorado State University-Pueblo had 12 team blocks and hit .171 to upend Chadron State College in four sets (25-21, 21-25, 25-20, 25-19) in their Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference match Saturday in Chadron.

Pueblo's Megan Schultz had a match-high 15 kills and Mariangel Perez added 14 more to lift the ThunderWolves to 9-6 overall and 3-3 in the RMAC.

The Eagles (3-11, 2-4 RMAC) had balance offensively but they were unable to overcome Pueblo's front line.
Lelalelei Nomura and
Alia Brennan each had nine kills,
Hanna Flaming chipped in eight and
Erika Roybal added seven. However, as a team, CSC hit .055 and committed seven service errors.

Shelby Gardner handed out 34 assists and served three aces and Brennan and Nomura each had two blocks.

Defensively,
Alyssa Bauer had a match-high 26 digs and four others reached double digits.
Alexis Farris and
Ashlyn Hanson both had 12 digs and Nomura and
Brittany Oddo had 10 apiece.

Chadron State College will be home Friday against Regis University at 6 p.m. The Eagles finish out their five-match home stretch against the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs Saturday, Oct. 4.
