CHADRON – In the first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matchup of 2015, the Fort Lewis College women's basketball team defeated Chadron State College 77-59.

The Eagles (1-10, 1-6 RMAC) will host Adams State University Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m.

A majority of the game was played at the foul line as the two teams combined to be whistled for 53 fouls. Despite committing18 more personal fouls than CSC, the Skyhawks outshot the Eagles at the line, making 27 of 35, compared to the Eagles' 20 of 34.

Fort Lewis' Mary Brinton scored a game-high 21 points. She shot seven of 10 from the field and the line, totaling a game-high 21 points. Kaile Magazzeni chipped in 10 points, while Kylie Santos sank three shots from beyond the arc to add nine points.

Maka Daysh grabbed eight rebounds and also led Chadron State in scoring with 11 points.
Allegria Chisom scored 10 points, shooting five of seven from the field, and
Stephanie Knowles had nine while hauling in five rebounds.
Emma Block went five of eight from the line to score nine points.
