CSC's Jessica Jarecki struck out seven, allowing only six hits, but went to 1-6 on the season with a pair of doubles from Brooke Hodgson and a double from Kellie Mrofcza producing most of the Mavericks' runs'.

Kayla Michel provided the lone run for the Eagles in the late game, stroking a solo homer in the fourth to right center. CMU plated seven in the sixth inning to affect a shortened game and go to 2-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in the first conference games of the season.
