CHADRON, Neb. -- The Chadron State College volleyball team fell in four sets to Dixie State Saturday night in the Chicoine Center, 25-17, 17-25, 23-25, 18-25.

In set one, the eagles only trailed 1-0, before scoring four straight points and holding the lead the rest of the set. The Trailblazers finished set two on a 6-0 scoring run and set three on a 7-1 scoring run.

Dixie started set four with seven straight points, but Chadron State rallied to tie the score at 10. The teams alternated scores, until the Trailblazers scored eight of the last 11 points.

The loss drops CSC to 12-6 overall and 6-4 in the RMAC, while Dixie improves to 13-6 overall and 8-3 in the conference.

Chadron State was outhit .159 to .091 in the match.

Chandler Hageman led the Eagles with nine kills and an attack percentage of .286. Hageman also led the team with seven total blocks.

Tori Strickbine led Chadron State with 23 assists, followed by
Kincaid Strain with 11.
Ashton Burditt led five different players with double-digs with 22.

Strickbine and Strain both had double-doubles, with 11 and 10 digs, respectively.

To'a Faleao had a match high 13 kills for the Trailblazers. Lauren Gammell recorded 12 kills and had an attack percentage of .379.

Jordyn Nelson had a team high 24 assists. Megan Treanor finished with 5 blocks, while Faleao had 17 digs to pace Dixie.

The Eagles travel the next two weekends, as they visit New Mexico Highlands on Friday and CSU-Pueblo on Saturday.
