CHADRON, Neb. -- The Chadron State College volleyball team defeated Black Hills State in four sets Friday night at the Chicoine Center, 26-24, 23-25, 25-16, 25-22.

CSC improves to 14-9 overall and 8-7 in the RMAC, while Black Hills falls to 11-13 and 9-7 in the conference.

The Eagles opened set one on a 10-4 scoring run before the Yellow Jackets scored seven straight to take the lead. Black Hills took a 24-23 lead but had two straight attack errors and a
Rylee Greiman kill won the match for the Eagles.

Chadron State never trailed in set three and scored the final three points in set four to win the match.

"In the fourth set we stayed very confident in the end," Head Coach
Jennifer Stadler said. "We pushed to be really aggressive in our last five points."

CSC outhit Black Hills .251 to .142.

Seniors
Timmi Keisel and
Shelby Schouten led the Eagles with 15 kills, a career high for Keisel. She led the team with a .433 attack percentage. Greiman also had double-digit kills with 13.

"We did a good job of getting Keisel the ball tonight," Stadler said. "Timmi (Keisel) played a great solid game all-around, blocking and offensively."

Setter
Tori Strickbine had 42 assists.
Â
Defensively, four different players had double-digit digs for CSC.
Ashton Burditt lead the team with 25 digs. Strickbine finished with a double-double after recording 18 digs and
Karli Noble and
Katie Thoeny each had 11 and 10, respectively.

Chandler Hageman led both teams with eight blocks.

Sierra Ward had a match high 17 kills for the Yellow Jackets. Laurel Lech and Tess Thomas each recorded 28 and 26 assists, respectively.

Libero Haedyn Rhoades recorded a team high 35 assists and Mariah Robinson had three blocks.

The Eagles stay home tomorrow on Military and Service Appreciation Day, as they face South Dakota Mines. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
