COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – November 16, 2021 -- Chadron State College freshman Quade Smith is the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week, a release Tuesday at RMACSports.org announced. Smith's award marks the first weekly honor of the season for the freshman.
 
Smith put on a strong performance for the Eagles in Thursday's dual on the road against the University of Nebraska. He was one of two Chadron State competitors to claim a victory in Thursday's dual on the road against the Huskers. A true freshman, Smith registered a third-round pin against his foe at the 7:25 mark in the 125-pound matchup. Smith's win handed the Huskers foe the third loss of his collegiate career.

Smith's opponent, redshirt freshman Jeremiah Reno, was undefeated in four years of competition at Liberty High in Kansas City.
