LARAMIE, Wyo. – November 12, 2022 – Three Chadron State College wrestlers placed on Saturday at the University of Wyoming Cowboy Open.
 
True Freshman Logan Berger was the highest finisher with a fifth place showing at 165. He was also runner-up at the Mines Rookie Open last weekend.
 
In the same bracket, sophomore Dean Neff met Berger in the 165-pound fifth-place match. The result was a first-period pin for Berger.
 
In the 125-pound category, Yusef Nelson also placed, finishing sixth after going 1-1 and then withdrawing from a couple of matches.
 
The CSC varsity wrestlers are in action Sunday at No. 1 Nebraska-Kearney.
