(Clarification 11:33 a.m.: The rescheduled games are to be played in the reverse order they were originally scheduled)

CHADRON, Neb. -- December 16, 2022 -- The Chadron State College men's and women's basketball teams were forced to postpone their travel to Denver on Friday for their scheduled basketball games at Regis University on Friday evening.

CSC's travel provider, in Spearfish, South Dakota, was unable to supply vehicles to Chadron, as of 8 a.m. Friday, and winds around Chadron were gusting up to 50 miles per hour with a weather advisory extended to 5 p.m.

The Regis games were rescheduled on Monday, January 2, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., with the men's game preceding the women's.

The CSC athletics department will continue to monitor road decisions, in order to make a decision about Saturday's games at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
