COLORADO SPRINGS -- April 7, 2022 -- Five Chadron State College men's wrestlers were honored on Thursday, for their work in the classroom, when the annual Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic release was issued at RMACSports.org.
The honor roll is made up of RMAC wrestlers who have a 3.3 or better cumulative grade point average, have been at their current school for one full academic year, and used a season of eligibility this year.
The Eagles who claimed this year's honors are
Stone Durham (Rapid City, S.D.);
Harrison Gocke (York, Neb.);
Dean Neff (Jefferson, Wis.);
Gavin Peitzmeier (Omaha); and
Mason Watt (Broomfield, Colo.).
All five of CSC's honorees competed in at least one dual meet this season.
The Academic Wrestler of the Year was awarded to New Mexico Highlands' Allen Michel.
