Harrison Gocke,
Colter Julian,
Dean Neff,
Brandon Paredes and
Mason Watt were all named 2023 National Wrestling Coaches Association Division II Scholar All-Americans the association announced Friday.

Watt, a graduate student and CSC's heavyweight, earned at trip to the NCAA Championships with a second-place finish in the region this season. The Broomfield, Colorado native was named First Team All-RMAC.

Gocke, from York, Nebraska, Julian, from Kemmerer, Wyoming and Neff, from Jefferson, Wisconsin, are all juniors.

Gocke, who wrestled at the 157-pound weight class, majors in Physical Science. Julian is a Rangeland Management major and wrestled at 133 pounds while Neff wrestled at 165 lbs and majored in Business Administration.

Gocke and Neff are both 3x time honorees, earning the award in 2021-2023. Gocke started the season as CSC's starting 157-pounder.

Two freshmen also received the honor for CSC.

Burr, from Fleming, Colorado, majors in Recreational Management and Paredes, a health science major is from Tucson, Arizona.

Burr and Neff both placed at one open this season.

Paredes wrestled for CSC at 149 pounds in the regional tournament, finishing 1-2.

In order for a student-athlete to be nominated to the Division II Scholar All-American Team, he must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, with that benchmark at 3.25 for those who qualified for the 2023 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships and a 3.0 for those who were All-Americans at the 2023 Nationals. Wrestlers must have competed in four dates of competition.

West Liberty had 16 individual honorees to lead all institutions. Indianapolis had 15 honorees, with Nebraska-Kearney and Mary both putting 12 on the individual honoree listing.
