RAPID CITY, S.D. -- Kinsey Smith, a senior from Windsor, Colorado, won the South Dakota School of Mines Invitational today in a playoff after finishing +10 over the two-day tournament.

Smith, who earned her second career victory, becomes the third golfer in CSC history to finish first place in two tournaments.

After 18 holes, Smith and Annika Schooler of South Dakota Mines, were both tied. In a one-hole playoff, Smith finished with a birdie while Schooler shot par, giving her the victory.

After shooting a 76 (+4) yesterday, Smith finished round two +6 (78).

On the front nine, she had four bogeys. The back nine had three bogeys and one birdie on the day.

Competing as an individual,
Jordan Grasis was next on the leaderboard for CSC, finishing in 10
th. The senior from Yuma, Arizona shot an 81 (+9) today.

The front nine had four bogeys and a double bogey for Grasis. On the back nine, she recorded two birdies, one bogey, and finished +5 on hole 13.

Payton Wise, a sophomore from Kimball, Nebraska, finished tied in 16
th. Wise had ten bogeys, three double-bogeys and two birdies on her scorecard, good enough for an 86 (+14).

Kenzey Kanno, a senior from Mitchell, Nebraska. After finishing with an 83 (+11) on Monday, she shot a 95 (+23) today.

Allison Acosta, a senior from Oro Valley, Arizona, was next on the leaderboard for Chadron State, shooting an 88 (+16) on Tuesday, placing her tied in 30
th.

Brooke Kramer, a senior from Aurora, Colorado and
Aubree Heinsma, a sophomore from Windsor, Colorado, finished tied 32
nd and tied 37
th, respectively.

As a team, the Eagles fell by three strokes compared to yesterday, finishing at +50 today. CSC finished in fourth place, while the host, South Dakota Mines, was the tournament champion.
