Women’s Wrestling traveling to St. Louis

CHADRON, Neb. -- The Chadron State College women's wrestling team is traveling to St. Louis, Missouri for the Missouri Baptist University Open on Saturday.
 
The open will host some of the top competition in women's wrestling, including #1 North Central and #4 McKendree University. Other ranked teams attending are #11 William Jewell and #18 Lindenwood.
 
North Central has a total of 17 nationally ranked wrestlers, all ranked in the top 10. They own the number one spot at 109, 136, 143 and 191 pounds and have two wrestlers ranked in seven different weight classes. Wrestlers for North Central are ranked number two at 116, 123, 170 and 191 pounds.
 
A total of 29 ranked individuals will be at the tournament.
 
The Eagles haven't wrestled since January 6 and 7. On the 6th, CSC ended their home schedule with a 41-5 victory, before having five wrestlers compete at the Hastings Open on Saturday.
 
Nine different wrestlers will make the trip to St. Louis for Chadron State.
