Kleve Earns Second Team All-RMAC

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Freshman Macy Kleve became one of just three first-year golfers to earn All-RMAC accolades when she was named to the Women's Golf All-RMAC Second Team by the league office on Wednesday.

The All-RMAC rosters and major awards are selected by a committee comprised of the RMAC Men's and Women's Coach Chairs, Men's and Women's RAC coach representatives, and a representative from the RMAC office, utilizing the Clippd Rankings after the NCAA Regionals. The league's Coach of the Year honor is voted on by the league's head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for themselves.

Kleve a native of Windsor, Colorado, put together a stroke average of 78.7 in her debut season, the best on the CSC roster. Kleve tallied a win, two top-3 and four top-10 finishes among her nine tournament starts in 2025-26.

The freshman took down the title at the Yellowjacket Fall Invitational at Lake Hills Golf Course in Billings, Montana this past October. Kleve's two-day score of 6-over-par 150 and sparkling second round of 1-over 73 both ranked among the best in program history. Kleve defeated a field of 61 golfers to take medalist honors.

That performance came just a week and a half after Kleve finished third among 77 golfers in the EverSpring Inn & Suites Mustang Invite, where Kleve finished at 7-over 151.

Kleve didn't slow down in the spring season, earning a third top-10 finish by placing sixth in the Maverick Challenge at Redlands Mesa Golf Course, before the freshman placed eighth of 58 at her first RMAC Women's Golf Championships on April 19-21 at Boulder Creek Golf Course in Nevada.

At the 45-hole conference tournament, Kleve finished 9-over 189 and was 3-over through 36 holes before severe winds impacted the event's final day. Kleve was the second-highest placing freshman at the RMAC championships.

Westminster's Ashley Lam repeated as the RMAC Player of the Year. CSU Pueblo's Thale Victoria Estensen took home Freshman of the Year honors while Colorado Christian's Ashlyn Kennedy was named the Coach of the Year.

League champions CSU Pueblo took home five of the eight spots on the All-RMAC first team. Chadron State was one of only seven programs featured among the league's 16 all-conference honorees.

Kleve, a native of Windsor, Colorado, is CSC's first all-conference selection since Jordan Grasis in the 2023-24 season. According to the Clippd rankings database, which sequentially ranks over 1,040 Division II golfers, Kleve is ranked No. 16 in the RMAC, No. 126 in Division II's West Region and No. 401 in the nation.
