Clause is no surprise to make another All-Academic First Team after the senior swept the RMAC Summit Awards, given to the conference championship qualifier with the highest GPA, at both the indoor and outdoor RMAC meets in 2025-26. With a perfect 4.00 GPA as a family and consumer sciences major, Clause ranked No. 18 in the RMAC in the pole vault outdoors this season with her season-best of 3.23 meters (10 feet, 7 inches) cleared. Clause competed at six meets, with a best finish of fourth in the pole vault at Grubby's Easter Classic in Rapid City.
Christensen, who has a 3.94 GPA as a mathematics major, is a versatile thrower who was a three-event qualifier at the RMAC Outdoor Championships. The junior placed 15th in the discus at the conference meet with a career-best heave of 42.91m (140-9) and also placed 20th in the hammer throw and 21st in the shot put. Christensen competed in five outdoor meets across his three events and put up season-best marks of 45.57m (149-6) in the hammer and 13.70m (44-11.5) in the shot put.
The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes in each conference-sponsored sport who academically maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average, have completed two consecutive semesters at their current institution, and have used a season of competition.
Each institution's athletic communications directors nominate student-athletes who academically maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, along with the other criteria for the Academic Honor Roll, for recognition on the First Team Academic All-RMAC in each sport. The league's athletic communications directors for that sport vote to compose the First Team Academic All-RMAC and select the Academic Player of the Year. They are not permitted to vote for their own student-athletes.
Colorado School of Mines's Emily LaMena was named the Women's Outdoor Track and Field Academic Athlete of the Year while Colorado Christian's Matthew Storer took the men's honor. There were 25 selections to both the men's and women's All-Academic First Teams.
