Box Score CHADRON – Both Cassie Lambrecht and Jenae Paine scored 14 points in the second half and the Metro State women's basketball team outscored Chadron State 47-29 in the final stanza en route to its 67-60 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game Saturday at Armstrong Gymnasium.

The Roadrunners, now 3-6 overall and 2-3 in the RMAC, trailed by as many as 16 points late in the first half and trailed 31-20 at halftime. However, Metro continued to whittle the Eagles' lead and went on outscored Chadron State 26-9 the final eight and a half minutes.

Despite Metro's late scoring surge, Chadron State was still alive.
Kate Simonton hit a foul shot to tie the game at 58-58 with 2:13 to play but the Roadrunners' Tai Jensen sank a jumper after an offensive rebound and Metro connected on seven of eight foul shots in the final 90 seconds to seal the victory.

Seven of the eight Metro State players who played scored. Lambrecht finished with a game-high 20 points and Paine added 15 off the bench.

Kayli Rageth led Chadron State with 17 points and nine rebounds and
Kattie Ranta had 14 points and six rebounds.

Also for Chadron State, now 1-9 and 1-5 in the RMAC,
Dallas Shaw scored 11 points and added five boards, and
Hattie Guzman had five points and a game-high four points.

The Eagles outshot Metro – 37 percent to 31 percent – from the field but Metro made 22 of 29 foul shots, compared to 17 of 23 for CSC.
