CHADRON – Chadron State College's softball team will travel to Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, for a four-game Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series Saturday and Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for noon on Saturday.

The Eagles (3-17, 3-5 RMAC) recently went 2-2 during a four-game series with Black Hills State. Pitcher
Tayler Hall, a junior transfer from Otero Junior College, has all three wins for the Eagles. In the series against Black Hills State she pitched over 15 innings and struck out 19 batters.

Courtney Lecher has a team-high 42 assists and four turned double-plays, the same amount as first baseman
Katelyn Kruger who has a perfect fielding percentage and leads the team in putouts. Outfielder
Shea Graham is the only other player with a perfect fielding percentage for CSC.

Aspen Eubanks has emerged as one of the Eagles' top batters. She has a team-high batting average of .419. Designated player
Casey Polk and Lecher are leading the team with 23 hits apiece, and Polk leads the team with 15 RBIs.

Zoe Humphries has four home runs and a slugging percentage of .689.

Fort Lewis (8-11, 6-2 RMAC) has a team batting average of .345. Myndee Thompson has a team-high 33 hits, including three triples, and a batting average of .485. The Skyhawks have seven batters with a batting average higher than .300.

On defense, pitchers Kiley Raica and Victoria Johnson have combined for eight wins. Raica has a team-best 5.42 ERA, while Johnson has five wins and a 6.82 ERA. Both have combined for 47 strikeouts, but have an average opponent batting average over .340.Â
