Allen Named Honorable Mention All-RMAC

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Redshirt junior first baseman Brogan Allen earned an honorable mention selection to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference all-conference team, announced by the league office on Thursday. It is the first all-conference honor of Allen's Chadron State career.

Allen, who hails from Cheyenne, Wyoming, hit .299 with eight doubles, home runs and 24 runs batted in during the 2026 season. She finished with an on-base percentage of .354 and a slugging percentage of .448. 

Defensively, Allen patrolled first base for the Eagles and finished with a .976 fielding percentage in over 200 chances. 

Allen's best offensive stretch came against eventual RMAC regular season champions Colorado Christian and Regis. Against the Cougars, Allen hit two home runs and four RBI across a doubleheader. In a four-game set against the Rangers, Allen batted 7-for-13 with 10 runs batted in, driving in at least a run in all four games of the series.

Colorado Christian's Kat Hanson was named the RMAC Softball Player of the Year. CCU also won the Coach of the Year honors after Larry Hays piloted the Cougars to another regular-season championship. CSU Pueblo's McKenna James was named the RMAC Pitcher of the Year while Molli Magaña of Colorado Mesa earned Freshman of the Year honors. 

Chadron State softball finished the 2026 season with a 6-38 RMAC record and were 6-47 overall.
