Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Commissioner Chris Graham announced that Stretch Internet is the live streaming provider for the RMAC and its 16 member institutions effective August 1.
Â
For the first time in conference history, viewers will be able to watch RMAC contests free of charge. Chadron State College and its broadcasting program, CSC Live, will broadcast all home football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, wrestling and softball contests through Stretch Internet. CSC Live will also broadcast several other campus events, including the Graves Lecture Series and commencement ceremonies through the Stretch portal.
Â
"Stretch is a leader in collegiate live streaming and we're excited about the partnership," Graham said. "It will provide us an enhanced platform to further display our student-athletes' athletic achievements. We're particularly excited to present our fans a chance to watch all RMAC games for free for the first time."
Â
RMAC schools have offered broadband streaming of athletic events since 2008 using a pay-per-view model with a different provider.

Stretch Internet, based in Mesa, Ariz., was founded in 2003 by a former college athletics media relations professional who saw a need to provide affordable, high-quality streaming to college and university athletic departments. Since its formation more than 10 years ago, Stretch has expanded to provide services for more than 500 colleges and universities, high schools, professional sports organizations and non-sports entities.
Â
The contract between the RMAC and Stretch is for three years, going through the 2017-18 seasons.
