COLORADO SPRINGS -- May 27, 2021 -- The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference academic awards for softball were released on Thursday, at RMACSports,org, and six Chadron State College softball players were named to the league's All-Academic honor roll.
Student-athletes qualify for the honor roll, and possible selection to the All-Academic First Team, by carrying a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or above. First year freshmen and first-year transfers are ineligible.
Making the list for the Eagles were
Tia Kohl (Wichita, Kansas);
Bailey Marvel (Lakewood, Colorado);
Allie Mason (Loveland, Colorado);
Sloane Quijas (Erie, Colorado);
Addison Spears (Bethoud, Colorado); and
Micah Stouffer (Rushville, Nebraska).
The RMAC Academic Player of the Year award went to Sydney Marchando of Colorado School of Mines.
