Eagles look to Highlands series for turnaround

CHADRON, Neb. – March 24, 2022 – The Chadron State College softball team will try to get back in the winning column again on Saturday and Sunday when it hosts New Mexico Highlands for a four-game Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series at CSC Softball Field.

The Eagles, who have been stymied in their last five appearances, and 11 of the last 12, are 4-24 overall, and 3-13 in RMAC play, tying them with Adams State and Highlands for 10th in the league.

The Cowgirls, coming off their first win in 15 tries, are 5-21 with a conference mark matching CSC's.

Four of Highlands' five wins have come in the state of New Mexico, with two in Albuquerque, two at home in Las Vegas, and one last weekend in Denver.
