PUEBLO, Colo. -- March 20, 2023 -- After shooting 325 (+37) yesterday, the Chadron State golf team finished +16 (304) during round two of the Pack Classic in Pueblo, Colorado today.
The Eagles improved one place from yesterday's standings, finishing 11
th as a team. Colorado Christian once again shot 299, finishing in first, one stroke ahead of CSU-Pueblo and Colorado Mesa.
Jordan Grasis and
Alpine Hickstein both shot a 74 (+2) in round two.

Kenzey Kanno, finished even on the traditional back nine.
Her scorecard included four birdies and six bogeys. Starting her round on hole 13, Grasis added a birdie to her scorecard. She went on to birdie holes 18, five and her final hole, hole 12.
Hickstein, who finished tied 44
th, also started her round on hole 13. She had a double bogey on hole 15 before a bogey on holes 16 and 16.
The traditional front nine was the senior from Chadron's best nine holes of this spring season. She had birdies on holes one and seven and an eagle on the par five fifth. Two bogeys on holes eight and nine had her at -2 for the front nine.
Kanno shot +6 on the traditional front nine and +1 on the back nine while tying with Grasis. Her round two score was a 79 (+7), compared to yesterday's 77.
The Mitchell, Nebraska native had two birdies and three bogeys on the back nine before two bogeys and double bogeys on the front nine.
Brooke Kramer improved yesterday's round by five strokes, shooting a 77 (+5) on Monday. Her scorecard consisted of seven bogeys and two birdies, tying her for 51
st.
CSC's other golfer eligible to help the team score was
Kinsey Smith. Smith shot another 84 (+12) tying her for 66
th.
Allison Accosta competed as an individual in the Classic for CSC. She shot an 80 (+8) after shooting a 78 yesterday. She tied for 44
th place.
The Eagles head to Arizona again for their last tournament before the RMAC Championships. They will golf in Goodyear, Arizona on March 31 and April 1, 2023.
