CHADRON, Neb. -- March 22, 2023 -- The Chadron State College softball team's series against Colorado Mesa at home this weekend has been moved to Thursday and Friday.

First pitch Thursday will be at 12 and 2 p.m., while Friday's will be at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Eagles dropped to 8-19 overall and 6-14 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference after losing three of four games to Colorado Mines earlier this week.

Lauren Zimmerman led CSC in the series, batting .375.

The Mavericks are 19-8 overall and 17-2 in the conference. Last season, Colorado Mesa swept the Eagles.

Colorado Mesa is led offensively by Rylee Crouch, with a .466 batting average. She is one of five Mavericks with an average above .400.

Crouch has 41 hits this season. She has 47 RBI's and 15 homeruns this season, both ranking her number one in the conference.Â

Hannah Sattler is the visitors best pitching, with an ERA of 2.72 and a record of 10-4. In 19 appearances, she has struck out 53 batters while walking 16.
