CHADRON, Neb. -- After winning their first two games of the season on Monday, the Chadron State College softball team continues its conference schedule with four games against CSU-Pueblo on Saturday and Sunday in Pueblo, Colorado.

The Eagles, who are 2-12 overall and 2-2 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play, will play at 12 and 2 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., on Sunday.

Through 14 games,
Ashland Baca, a senior from Pueblo West, Colorado, has led CSC with a batting average of .318.
Mackenzi Kroll has a team high eight RBIs while
Jessie Henchenski leads the Eagles with eight runs and three homers.
Tori Haug and
Kenzi Garner both picked up their first wins of the season after each pitched complete game victories.

The Thunderwolves are 2-13 overall and 0-4 in conference play. Last weekend, they went 0-4 against Regis, losing two of the games 7-6.

They are led offensively by Caitlyn Cole with a .400 average. Cole leads CSU-Pueblo with 16 hits, seven doubles and 12 RBIs. The sophomore is also a threat on the bases, stealing nine in ten attempts. Raelynn Rogers has a team high 10 stolen bases.

A total of four pitchers have started games for CSU-Pueblo this season. Marissa Robertson leads the group with an ERA of 5.92. McKenna James has a team high 24 strikeouts and 33 walks with an ERA of 8.08.

Last year, the Eagles defeated the Thunderwolves in three of four games to clinch a spot in the RMAC Tournament.
