DENTON, Texas. -- The Chadron State College women's wrestling team is traveling to Denton, Texas for the Region VI National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championship on Sunday, February 25, hosted by Texas Women's University.
Seven DII and four DIII schools will attend the championships. All five of the teams from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference will be wrestling (Simon Fraser, Adams State, Colorado Mesa, Texas Women's University and CSC). Linfield, Minot State, Pacific, Schreiner, University of Sioux Falls and University of the Ozarks will complete the list of participants.
Chadron State has a total of 12 wrestlers making the trip to Denton. A season ago, four Eagles qualified for the national tournament. Of that group,
Kamila Montenegro returns this year for CSC.
The event is set to start at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25 and doors will be open an hour before the start of the event. The Championship matches will start at 4:00 p.m.

The NCWWC Championship events will use Track Wrestling for all scoring and bracketing for the event. Links will be provided to each school for the tournament and live streaming will also be available through the
LSC Network for the fee of $15 for an all-day pass.
