CHADRON, Neb. – Chadron State College Athletics and the Chadron State Foundation are inviting alumni, families, fans, and friends to support Eagle student-athletes during Winter Sports Giving Week, November 2–8.
The online fundraising campaign features six athletic programs: men's and women's basketball, men's and women's wrestling, cross country and track and field, and softball. Donors can support an entire team or give through an individual student-athlete's fundraising page.
Winter Sports Giving Week connects supporters directly with the programs and student-athletes they care about while helping provide resources beyond regular operating budgets.
"Giving week is one of the most important weeks of the year for Chadron State Athletics," said Director of Athletics
Mannie Reinsch. "Your support directly impacts our student-athletes by providing scholarship opportunities, enhancing a top-tier student-athlete experience, and equipping our Eagles with the resources they need to compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference."
A central feature of this year's campaign is student-athlete participation. Athletes are creating personalized fundraising pages to share their experiences at Chadron State, explain what their programs mean to them, and invite family members, former coaches, hometown supporters, and friends to contribute.
Each program has its own fundraising goal and priorities. Depending on the team, donations will help support travel and competition expenses, equipment, meals, training resources, scholarships, and other needs that enhance the student-athlete experience.
Supporters can track fundraising progress, learn about each team's accomplishments and goals, and donate through the campaign's online platform.
"Our alumni, donors, parents, families, and community members are the foundation of what makes Chadron State Athletics special," Reinsch said. "We are incredibly grateful for the support we receive throughout the year, and Giving Week is an opportunity for all of Eagle Nation to come together and make a difference. Every gift-no matter the size-helps us raise expectations, create opportunities and ensure our student-athletes continue to thrive in the classroom, in competition and in our community."

Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law and are designated to support the athletic program selected by each donor. Gifts are processed securely through the Foundation's GiveSmart fundraising platform, and donors receive an official charitable gift acknowledgment from the Foundation for their tax records.
