CHADRON, Neb. – Chadron State and Black Hills State softball have agreed to move the softball series between the two schools to this Friday and Saturday in Chadron due to upcoming weather forecasts.

The series was originally slated for Saturday and Sunday. Start times will be the same as originally scheduled – 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. for Friday's games and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for Saturday's games. 

As a result of the date change, Friday's games will now be free admission for all fans at the CSC Softball Field. Saturday's doubleheader will have admission charged. 

Saturday will also mark the Eagles' cancer awareness games. The team will raise money for various types of cancer research, celebrate survivors and remember those we have lost.

The Eagles had their home-opening series last Saturday and Sunday vs. UCCS, closing the four-game set with a 4-3 victory.
