CHADRON, Neb. – Due to weather forecasts ahead for Sunday, Chadron State softball and Colorado Mesa have agreed to move the scheduled series between the two schools up a day to this Friday and Saturday, April 24-25, in Chadron.
The new start times for the series will be 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. for Friday's games and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. for Saturday's games.
Senior Day, originally slated for Sunday, will now take place
between games on Saturday. Chadron State will have five seniors –
Elizabeth Thorngren,
Katelynn Czerpak,
Aliyah Rothstein,
Madison Sebbo and
Brogan Allen – honored on Saturday.
The entire weekend will feature free admission for all fans at CSC Softball Field.
Friday and Saturday will be CSC's final home softball games of the season. The Eagles are coming off a 2-1 win over Fort Lewis last weekend.
