CHADRON, Neb. – Chadron State women's golf will play in its first of four fall season competitions when the team tees off in the Travis Roy Memorial Invite, hosted by South Dakota Mines at The Powder Horn GC in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Tee times for round one start at 10:30 a.m. MT, with the first CSC golfers set to leave the first tee box at 12:30 p.m.
The tournament is due to have 18 holes contested on each of Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Live scoring will be available on Clippd.
Looking Back
Chadron State finished tied for 6
th out of 10 programs at the RMAC Championships in Nevada back on April 19-21, 2026.
In the fall season last year, the Eagles competed four times with a high team finish of T-2 at the Mustang Invitational in Minnesota. At last year's Travis Roy Memorial Invitational, the Eagles placed ninth out of 12 competing programs.
Macy Kleve had a strong true freshman season, winning Second Team All-RMAC honors for 2025-26 and Preseason All-RMAC honors ahead of 2026-27. The now-sophomore won individual medalist honors at the Yellowjacket Fall Invitational last October, a tournament again on CSC's 2026 fall schedule.
In the Polls
Chadron State was picked to finish sixth in the RMAC based on a fall preseason vote of the league's head coaches.
CSU Pueblo led a hotly-contested poll, receiving four first-place votes and five second-place votes to finish first with 76 points. Westminster was just behind, also receiving four first-place votes, but tallying three seconds and two thirds to finish with 74 points.
Colorado Christian and Colorado Mesa finished third and fourth on 63 and 60 points, respectively, each getting one first-place vote. MSU Denver finished fifth with 41 points, ahead of CSC's 37 points in sixth.
Rounding out the poll were South Dakota Mines and Fort Lewis tied for seventh, followed by Black Hills State and Adams State.
The Field
A total of 12 teams will take part in this year's Travis Roy Memorial Invite, including many of the RMAC frontrunners.
CSU Pueblo, Westminster and Colorado Mesa – three of the top four in the RMAC Preseason Poll – are set to take part in this week's event. Also representing the RMAC will be Adams State, Black Hills State and hosts South Dakota Mines in addition to the Eagles.
Non-RMAC schools as part of the field are Augustana, Montana State Billings, Saint Martin's, Texas A&M-International and Westmont.
