CHADRON, Neb. – The first of three rounds of the Travis Roy Memorial Invite ended early due to darkness at The Powder Horn Golf Course in Sheridan, Wyoming, with all six competing Chadron State women's golfers having completed between 15 and 17 of the scheduled 18 holes.

The Eagles will return to the course early at 8:30 a.m. Monday to conclude round one, then step back to the first tee at 11 a.m. Monday for round two of the three-day event. Roughly one-third of the 67-golfer field did not finish a full 18 during Sunday's action. 

On the unofficial leaderboard, junior Klara Kleinig is CSC's top golfer, as she is 6-over-par through 15 holes and tied for 17th place. Brooklyn Tychsen is tied for 21st with two holes to go in her round, carding an 8-over-par 72 through 16 holes. Lauren Knapp (T-31st, 11-over 70 through 15) and Macy Kleve (T-35th, 12-over 71 through 15) are the rest of CSC's current scoring four. Chadron State's other two competing golfers, Maggie Teague at 83 and Taegan Bach at 95, are through 17 holes.

In the unofficial team standings, Chadron State is eighth out of 12 competing programs. The Eagles have a nine-stroke lead over ninth-place Saint Martin's and trail by four strokes to seventh-place Montana State Billings. Both of those teams have completed their rounds, so CSC will know where they need to be to finish the morning round in eighth or better.

RMAC frontrunners Westminster and CSU Pueblo are separated by one stroke at the top of the team standings.
