CHADRON, Neb. – After five competitive outdoor meets and multiple school records set, the time has come for the Chadron State men's and women's track and field programs to compete for the honor of being the league's best at the 2025 RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
The three-day meet will be hosted by Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado from Friday through Sunday. On day one, field events will commence Friday morning at 9 a.m. with track prelims plus the men's and women's 10K starting at 5:30 p.m. and running through 8:45 p.m.
Saturday's schedule will see multis start the action at 10 a.m., with other field events around 12 p.m. Track events will resume at 4 p.m. on Saturday, ending in the steeplechase finals, which are scheduled to wrap up around 7 p.m.
The final day of the meet, Sunday, will see most of the meet's track finals starting at 12 p.m., with some final field events running in the morning. For a complete meet schedule,

RMAC Championship Information
As with all postseason events, the RMAC will offer coverage on a pay-per-view basis. There are multiple options and price points available for fans looking to purchase access to the meet live streams.
Fans can buy a "championship pass" for $20 that will give them access to all three days of the RMAC meet, or purchase a "day pass" for $9.99 that will give them access to all streams on a particular day. Multiple field-event specific streams plus a track event stream will be available at the day pass or championship pass cost.
For fans interested in multiple sports, there are bundles available for higher prices that grant fans access to RMAC championship events for multiple sports across the spring season or the entire year.
Tickets are also available through the RMAC website and can be purchased as single-day or multi-day tickets. Discounted multi-day pass rates are available for kids, seniors and military.

Chadron State won eight events at the Bauer Open hosted by South Dakota Mines, another three-way meet between the Eagles and regional rivals Black Hills State and the Hardrockers.

Eagles to Watch
Chadron State's national qualifying contenders who should do well at the RMAC meet include sophomore jumper
Chayton Bynes, who will enter the meet with the conference's longest triple jump (15.54 meters) and the second-longest triple jump mark (7.28 meters).
Another frontrunner will be freshman javelin sensation
Trace Hanchett. The Kansas native will be returning to the track where he set the RMAC's longest mark of the season, and the current Mines facility record with a throw of 65.60 meters earlier this year.

Creighton Trembly in the 110 hurdles (14.51, second),
Nicquaine Henry in the 400 hurdles (53.33, fifth), senior
Parker Gonser in the hammer (56.59 meters, fifth), and freshman triple jumper

Coach's Corner
Jake Gruver, a former CSC All-American, returned to take over the Chadron State Track and Field program in September 2023. In the fall of 2024, Gruver also began overseeing Chadron State's cross-country program.
Gruver was previously a CSC assistant coach in 2012 before working outside athletics. As an athlete for the Eagles, Gruver was a seven-time RMAC Champion and a one time All-American. His lone All-American accolade happened in 2011 when he was a member of the schools 4x100 relay team that placed sixth.
In Gruver's first season as cross country coach, the CSC women's team recorded its highest placing at the RMAC Championships since 2017. The Eagles also excelled in the classroom, with
Kyle Shirley earning the RMAC Summit Award (the conference's highest individual academic honor) and Chadron State placing a program-record three student-athletes on the RMAC All-Academic Team.
