a CSC record by earning 145 team points during his championship run in 2007-08.
Also an outstanding student, Majerus received three RMAC All-Academic First-Team honors, two RMAC Academic Wrestler of the Year Awards and was named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association DII All-Academic First Team twice.
Both Majerus and Hunter were inducted into the Nebraska High School Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame in 2019 and the National Wrestling Coaches Division II Hall of Fame in 2020.
Majerus is now the head wrestling coach at Boone Central High School in Albion, Nebraska. He and his wife Rachel have two sons, Maxwell and Mason.
