Not much is known about this charter member of the CSC Hall of Fame. He was from Mitchell and earned four letters in track and two in football while at CSC before graduating in 1932. He was the captain of the 1932 track team. Prior to serving in World War II, he taught and coached at Gurley, Henry and Elsie, all in Nebraska. After the war, he earned a master’s degree from Colorado State College (now University of Northern Colorado) and coached the freshman football team three years. He then taught industrial arts and vocational education for 25 years at Sidney. He was living in Denver when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
