Kevin is often considered the Eagles’ all-time outstanding defensive player.  He started at middle linebacker four years and was selected the Outstanding Defensive Player in RMAC history when the conference named its All-Century Team in 2009.  He also was selected the defensive captain when the Eagles’ All-Century Team was chosen.
Kevin was Chadron State’s leading tackler his final three years, and remains the Eagles’ career leader with 503. He also forced 16 fumbles, recovered eight fumbles and intercepted seven passes. He was second-team all-conference as a freshman and earned first-team RMAC honors as well as first-team All-Nebraska NCAA II the next three years. He was a consensus All-American his senior year in 1998.
He was a starting linebacker and participated in 11 tackles in the East-West Shrine Bowl at Palo Alto, Calif., in January 1999.  
He participated in the NFL Combine that February and signed a free agent contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He also played for the Frankfurt Galaxy in the NFL Europe.
He was inducted into the RMAC Hall of Fame in 2007.  
Kevin now helps manage the family’s oil distribution enterprise and lives in Rock Springs, Wyo. He and his wife Tish have a son Kamden and twin daughters, Bradi and Scottlyn.
