Chadron State College Athletic Hall of Fame
Cory was a wide receiver who owns the CSC career records for most receptions (188) and most yards receiving (2,940) and is tied for the most career touchdowns (22). In addition, he held for placekicker Scott Doyle, was the emergency punter and participated in 23 tackles while on special teams. Cory earned second-team all-conference and was an NCAA II all-Nebraska selection by the Omaha World-Herald as a junior in 1994. The next year, he was first-team all-conference, repeated as an all-Nebraska choice and was second-team all-West Regional. He later earned many honors as a rodeo clown and bullfighter. He is a deputy sheriff and has a construction business in Casper. He and his wife Amber have three children.
