He took over as the Eagles’ starting quarterback early in the second game of the 1995 season, when he was a redshirt freshman.  The Eagles went 33-10 in the games he started, won or shared the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championships in 1996 and 1998 and  advanced to the NCAA Division II playoffs both of those years. During his career, Trevor completed 684 of 1,329 passes for 9,992 yards and 66 touchdowns. All are Chadron State records except the touchdown total, which is fourth.   He also still owns the Eagles’ career total offense record of 9,700 yards and his average yards per completion (14.6) and passing yards per game (232.4) remain the highest in school history.  His teammates voted him CSC’s Most Valuable Offensive Player in both 1997 and ’98. He graduated from CSC in December 1998 and married Sandy Lantis, a 1999 CSC graduate, in 2000.  They have two sons. He owns an insurance agency in his hometown of Buffalo, Wyo., and helps coach the Buffalo High football team.
