He saw limited action as a freshman, but started the next three seasons and had an exceptional senior season in 1996-97, when he scored 504 points while averaging 19.7 points.
That season he shot 44.3 percent from the field, including 57 of 154 from 3-point range for 37.0 percent, and made 139 of 162 free throws for 85.8 percent. Â
His free throw shooting as a senior led the RMAC and is the Chadron State single-season record. Â
During his career, Vidokovich made 307 of 379 free throws for 81 percent. Â
He was a second-team all-RMAC East selection his senior year and finished his career with 1,160 points.
That was 14th on the CSC all-time list when he graduated and is now 17th. Â
