Chadron State College Athletic Hall of Fame
Jacqueline Wells Hobbs was a nine-time conference champion and a 10-time All-American while dominating throwing events for the Eagles 2003-06. A native of Albion, Neb., she was named to the RMAC’s 12-member All-Century Track and Field Team in 2009. When she graduated, she owned four school records. Her outdoor shot mark of 52-1 also was the conference record. During her career, she won a throwing event 55 times, was named the RMAC’s Outstanding Female Athlete both indoors and outdoors in 2005, and was on the District 7 All-Academic Team as a senior. She is a family physician at the Seward Family Medical Center.
