Chadron State College Athletic Hall of Fame
Tony wrestled for the Eagles two years after transferring from Northwest College at Powell, Wyo. He had a cumulative 47-12 record. He was 28-9 with 51 takedowns as a junior, when he won first at four tournaments, including the West Regional, and placed fifth at the National Tournament. The next year he won the RMAC title, was second at the Regional Tourney and placed fifth at Nationals again. He also was an Academic All-American as selected by the Wrestling Coaches Association his senior year. Tony is a technical engineer and project manager for Mi SWACO, a Schlumberger (pronounced Slumberjay) company that is the world’s largest oilfield services provider.
He and his wife Cherie have two sons.
