Jen is regarded as one of the outstanding volleyball players in Chadron State history. Her career hitting percentage of .310 is the best for anyone who played four years at CSC. Her .333 hitting percentage as a junior in 1994 was the best in CSC history and she broke it the next season, when she hit .334 with 455 kills and 109 hitting errors in 1,036 attempts.  She also led the Eagles in digs as a senior and was one of the few CSC players to have more service aces than serving errors. The team had records of 22-8, 23-12 and 23-17 her final three years. Jen is a fifth grade teacher in Spearfish, S.D.  She and her husband, John, a former coach at Chadron State and now the head football coach at Black Hills State, have four children.
