Transferring to CSC from Phoenix College alongside fellow inductee Michael Smith, Holden was CSC’s first 24-foot long jumper indoors. He won that event at the RMAC Meet twice and was runner-up a third time.
He placed seventh at indoor nationals to earn All-American honors in 2007, held the Eagles’ long jump records both indoors (24-8¼) and outdoors (24-2½) when he graduated and he still ranks among the college’s top five all-time in both.
Holden also had a career-best 6-10 ¼ high jump at CSC and ran on the 4x100 relay team that won several firsts and set the school record of 40.93 seconds in 2006. Jourdin and his wife Ellesse live in Mesa, Ariz., where he is a corrections officer.
